Desi was born on May 13th 1970 in Paris, France. As the daughter of a French General and a German lyricist she traveled all over the world at a very young age. At the french Cote d'Azur she discovered her love for the Ocean and at the age of 19 she was living on the Island of Ischia in the south of Italy where she completed her studies with a Major in Ocean science from the Instituto Aeronautico in Naples. Desi also has an MBA in International Economics from the Heinrich Heine University in Duesseldorf, Germany.
Desi started painting Ocean creatures and Italian landscape scenes during her studies and equipped several restaurants as well as offices in Naples, Ischia and Munich, Germany with murals and pictures.
Desi is living with her family in Aptos since 2006.
